Unique Zirconia Processing Methods

• Isostatic pressing and controlled manufacturing. This ensures even density throughout the disc with a controlled level of hardness value.
• Zirconia pre-sintering using a patented conveyer-tunnel technology curing process.
• Pressing and print system to ensure homogeneous color gradation.
• No demarcation present throughout colored discs.
• Even color graduation of hue, chroma, and value, mimicking natural dentition.
• Controlled cervical to incisal life-like natural translucency. Opacity and translucency controlled for easy CAD/CAM processing.

Aidite Zirconia Manufacturing Points

• Most all dental Zirconia is mined in Australia.
• Refined in China with Yttria addition for stabilization. China holds the worldwide patent on adding Yttria to zirconia.
• Particle-sized and further refined by Tosoh.
• Tosoh testing for radioactivity measured in Bq units/Kg.
• Multiple quality checks by Tosoh.
• Material signed off for production by company president or designee.
• Cold Isostatic pressing for superior results. Although it is a more expensive process, this produces the highest quality.
• 20 tons of pressure applied to raw green state zirconia to create even density throughout the disc.
• Each stage of processing is checked electronically and by employees and then documented.
• Patented conveyor tunnel curing system at 1000C for 24 hours for controlled, uniform density.
• Rare earth elements are used proportionately with metal oxides for the best and most accurate coloration of discs.
• In-house testing includes flexural, toughness, translucency, particle size, density, and mill-ability.
• Production of 3Y, 4Y, and 5Y types of zirconia for best translucency, esthetics, and strength.
• All ISO, FDA standards observed.
• All sizes and shapes to fit all modern mills.
• In-house lab for continued daily material testing.
